The Industrial and Systems Engineering program prepares ISE engineers:
- to be successful in improving systems and solving complex industrial and systems engineering problems.
- to communicate effectively and achieve leadership positions.
- to engage in lifelong learning and adapt to ever changing environments.
- to contribute as ethical and responsible members of the society.
ISE Program Outcomes:
The graduates of the program should be able to:
a. apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering;
b. design and conduct experiments, as well as analyze and interpret data;
c. design and improve integrated systems of people, materials, information, facilities, and technology;
d. function as a member of a multi-disciplinary team;
e. identify, formulate, and solve industrial and Systems engineering problems;
f. understand and respect professional and ethical responsibilities;
g. communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
h. understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global and societal contexts;
i. recognize the need for life-long learning, and an ability to engage in it;
j. have a knowledge of contemporary issues;
k. use up to dated techniques, skills and tools of Industrial and Systems Engineering throughout their professional careers.
